Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This policy covers the Fatto website (getfatto.com). It explains the small amount of browser storage the site uses and the cookies it doesn't. We've kept it short and plain on purpose.
The short version: we set no tracking cookies. The site uses a little local storage to work properly, and analytics only runs if you opt in through the cookie banner. You can change your mind anytime.
1. Storage we need to run the site
These are strictly necessary, so they don't require consent. They live in your own browser, are first-party only, and are never used to track you.
- fatto:cookie-consent (local storage) - remembers your choice on this banner, so we don't ask every time.
- fatto:waitlist-joined (local storage) - remembers that you joined the waitlist, so we don't show you the signup prompt again.
- fatto:exit-modal-shown (session storage) - makes sure the "before you go" prompt appears at most once per visit. It clears when you close the tab.
2. Analytics (optional, opt-in)
Analytics is currently off. If we turn it on, we'd use a privacy-friendly product analytics tool (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand which parts of the site are useful and where people get stuck. It would only run after you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, and never before.
If you choose "Reject", no analytics loads at all. Either way, the site works exactly the same.
3. What we don't use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No cross-site or cross-app tracking, and no ad pixels.
- We don't sell your data. Not to anyone, not ever.
- Fonts are served from getfatto.com itself, so loading a page doesn't call out to third-party font servers.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and switch between Accept and Reject at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. You can also clear this site's storage in your browser settings, which resets everything above.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that stores or tracks more than what's listed here, we'll update this page and ask for your consent again before it runs.
