Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fatto, the iOS app published as "Fatto - Save DIY Projects" and the website at getfatto.com. Fatto is operated by FopyLabs (Luca Capone), based in Luxembourg ("Fatto", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Fatto.

Fatto turns DIY and home improvement videos from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube into structured project cards. You submit a link, and our AI extraction reads the publicly available page text and captions for that link to produce a project card with materials, tools, step-by-step instructions, cost estimates, and difficulty levels. You can also import web links, add projects manually, organize projects into collections, and build shopping lists from your materials.

Fatto doesn't host, copy, or play back the videos themselves. We link to the original content, which stays where its creator published it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fatto. If you're under the age of legal majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. By using Fatto, you confirm you meet these requirements.

You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials to yourself, use a strong password, and tell us right away at support@getfatto.com if you suspect someone else has access. We're not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account where you've failed to keep it secure.

Use Fatto for what it's built for. Don't:

• Abuse the AI extraction, for example by automating imports, bulk-submitting links, or attempting to bypass import limits.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest data from our service, or resell access to it.
• Reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the service, its security, or its infrastructure.
• Submit content that's illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use Fatto in a way that violates the terms of the platforms you import from (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. See section 8.

Your content is yours. Projects you save, edits you make, collections, shopping lists, and manual entries all belong to you. We claim no ownership over any of it.

To run the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and sync your content. That includes sending the page text and captions of links you submit to our AI provider (Anthropic) for extraction. This license exists only to operate Fatto for you and ends when you delete your content or your account.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to save and process the links you submit.

Project cards are generated by AI from the text and captions of the content you submit. Materials lists, quantities, measurements, cut lists, cost estimates, time estimates, and difficulty levels are best-effort interpretations, not verified facts. They can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe for your specific situation.

Home improvement work can involve power tools, electricity, plumbing, structural elements, and heights. You're solely responsible for assessing whether a project is safe and legal for you to attempt, for following local building codes, and for getting professional help where it's needed. Fatto is an organizational tool, not professional advice.

Fatto has a free tier and a paid subscription called Fatto Premium:

• Monthly: $4.99 per month.
• Annual: $39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial.

Premium gives you unlimited AI imports. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store before you confirm.

• All billing goes through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• If you don't cancel the annual free trial before it ends, the annual subscription starts and you're charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Request them through Apple, not us. We can't issue App Store refunds directly.

If we change subscription prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and Apple will notify you in line with its rules.

You can stop using Fatto and delete your account at any time from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or create risk or legal exposure for us. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period, subject to Apple's billing mechanics.

We may also discontinue the service entirely. If that happens, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export or copy your content.

Fatto is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-extracted content will be accurate or complete. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FopyLabs and Luca Capone won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage or personal injury arising from projects you choose to attempt. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 euros.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. The current version always lives at getfatto.com/terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Disputes go to the competent courts of Luxembourg. If you're a consumer in the EU, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country's law, and you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
